About Anchoring and buoys: the rules
Anchoring on Posidonia meadows is prohibited in Balearic waters (Decree 25/2018, caib.es). In the low-impact buoy fields of Ibiza and Formentera, from Ses Salines and Espalmador to Cala d’Hort and Porroig, moorings are booked online through Ports IB (reservas.portsib.es); past seasons ran from 1 June to 30 September. You must register and validate your boat before you book.
