About Dalt Vila
Dalt Vila is the fortified old town on the Puig de Vila. The Renaissance fortress, designed by Giovanni Battista Calvi and completed at the end of the 16th century, has seven bastions and five gates; the main one, the Portal de ses Taules, faces the Marina (turismo.eivissa.es). It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site “Ibiza, Biodiversity and Culture” (1999).
